Honor Your Energy: Build Rhythms That Restore

Let energy lead. Let time follow.

When you stop forcing a calendar to do the work of a nervous system, everything softens. In this episode, we map a kinder way to plan your week, by focusing on energy. You’ll learn the four rhythm tools (anchors, buffers, caps, recovery), how to stack micro-supports (move • nourish • connect), and why boundaries become obvious when you honor capacity first.

What You’ll Hear:

  • Energy over hours: plan by capacity, not idealized time blocks
  • The 4 rhythm tools:Anchors (non-negotiable supports)
  • Buffers (transition + margin)
  • Caps (upper limits that prevent over-giving)
  • Recovery (intentional reset after output)
  • Micro-rhythms: daily “move • nourish • connect” check
  • Seasons & cycles: adjust pace for real life, not fantasy life
  • Boundaries that hold: your pace is a boundary and a kindness

Try This (3 minutes):

  • Circle one anchor for tomorrow (e.g., 10-min walk, lunch away from screen).
  • Add one buffer before/after your hardest block (5–10 min).
  • Set one cap (end time or max number).
  • Schedule one recovery pocket (15–20 min) after your biggest output.
